Luxury Apartment with Best Views in Budapest, Hungary

The View

I’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments with amazing views, and V1 Budapest is definitely one of my favorites! It has a direct view of the Parliament Building which is gorgeous during the day, and even more amazing at night when it lights up. Waking up to this view and dining with this view are surreal experiences I will never forget.

Amenities & Space

One of the best things about staying at an apartment is the amenities and the space. The apartment is extremely spacious with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms and its own washer. This is the perfect space for a family or a group of friends visiting Budapest who want to stay for several days and truly explore the city. During our stay, we were able to cook and dine in at the apartment a couple times. It beats dining out because you simply can’t find any restaurants with such an unique and amazing view!

Location

Another huge advantage of staying at V1 Budapest is its central location. It is situated right next to the Hungary Parliament Building, the metro/tram station Kossuth Lajos Tér as well as a supermarket. We took the subway multiple times and the tram a couple times to get to Chain Bridge, Fisherman’s Bastion and some restaurants. If you are feeling lazy and don’t want to walk, there is always a taxi stationed just at the entrance of the apartment building. Do beware of taxis on the streets, however, as you may be overcharged. Try to call taxis using the app “Taxify” – it is a taxi app that works just like Uber with fair prices.

You may think that such a central location would be noisy, but it wasn’t at all. Even during the day, with the double windows, we were able to block out most of the outside noise. At night the area is very quiet. We felt safe walking all around our area at night to scavenge for food.

Cost

Here is the best part about V1 Budapest – it is extremely affordable. Generally speaking, Budapest is a very affordable city to visit. But even after looking at many other listings on Airbnb, I discovered that V1 Budapest was one of the best apartments for its value. Starting at $75 a night, this apartment is honestly such a great deal! However, places like this may get booked up pretty fast so be sure to reserve at least a month or two ahead on Airbnb!

Overall

Looking back, I really feel that V1 Budapest is an apartment that has it all – unbelievable value, amazing view, central location, safe neighborhood, huge space and great amenities. My boyfriend and I both loved our stay here. If I returned to Budapest, I would not hesitate to book this apartment again for a comfortable stay.
