BRANDE CRUSH: BORDELLE

When I first discovered Bordelle in 2011 I was mesmerized. I had never heard of bondage before then but I immediately fell in love with the strong lines that give the body structure and definition. They describe their label as one that fills “a gap in the market for experimental lingerie that blurs the lines between seduction and ready to wear”. When Bordelle first launched at Selfridges in 2009 they immediately sold out, proving that there was definitely a market for high end, wearable kink.

We’ve all heard of “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”. But for me, what happens in Vegas stays on this blog! Of course.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to travel to Vegas for three days. It was a super chill trip with 3 other couples (two of which even brought their babies!). I never thought a trip to Vegas would end up like this. We rented a big AirBnB townhouse about 15 minutes away from the Strip and spent most of our meals cooking at home.

There is a lot of mystery surrounding Japanese geishas and I have long been fascinated by with what is called the essence of a Geisha. There is the common misconception that Geishas are courtesans but the direct translation of the word “Geisha” is actually “Artist”. These women are trained not just in traditional Japanese arts such as music and dancing but are also trained how to sit, move, speak and observe.
