Lace Blouse and Leather Pants
In fashion, combining opposites is one of our favorite styling rituals – hard and soft, masculine and feminine, tight and loose. I love feminine lace tops – especially ones from Alice McCall with gorgeous billowy sleeves. Whenever I have a loose top, I always pair it with a tight bottom. The leather balances out the femininity of the lace and gives the outfit a bit of an edge. You can wear this look to a dinner, a party or even to work (maybe wear a cami underneath though so your bra isn’t showing ; ) )

Another concept that is similar to the previous is pairing a feminine lace blouse with a leather skirt. If the skirt is pleated, flared or an A-line skirt, then it adds to the femininity of the entire outfit. Who says leather has to always be hard and tough?

Bodysuits and camisoles are a great way to style leather and lace. There are many variations of bodysuits and camisoles out there nowadays and pairing it with tight leather pants is oh-so-super-chic! If you err on the conservative side, just throw on a blazer, or pair the lace bodysuit with jeans then throw a leather jacket over the bodysuit! Thistle and Spire, a lingerie brand based in NYC, creates some of the most gorgeous lace and mesh bodysuits. I would totally wear these out!
