Voluminous sleeves are everywhere. Many brands are now showcasing puff sleeves, bouffant sleeves, bishop sleeves, trumpet sleeves, bishop sleeves – whatever kind of voluminous sleeves, it’s on the runway. Here are some examples from the 2016 Spring/Summer collections by a few of my favorite brands:
Johanna Ortiz is a brand I discovered a few months back. I absolutely love how she does the voluminous sleeves yet manages to keep it super feminine while showcasing her Colombian heritage.
Here I have styled her one shoulder voluminous sleeve white shirt with Alice + Olivia shorts and Giambattista Valli lace up boots. I just have to say, I ADORE these boots.
This one sleeve shirt is a little tricky to navigate in terms of how to wear it without accidentally exposing your right boob. So here I’ve pinned the shirt together with a vintage Zebra broche I found in Brisbane, Australia at a flea market. It was only $12 AUD! Just perfect for my monochrome look!
