Had I known Capri was so beautiful, I would’ve come earlier. Capri is a small island on the Amalfi Coast that is best known for its beautiful hotels/villas, luxury shopping, amazing views, and high-end clientele. Of course, everywhere I go I am determined to find and photograph (with) the best view possible. In Capri, I found the perfect spot for my purpose – the Gardens of Augustus.
The Gardens of Augustus were originally known as the Krupp Gardens as it was established by a German industrialist named Friedrich Alfred Krupp. It is actually not very large but has terraces with amazing coastline view. (You can also see the famed Faraglioni) In this garden you will also find a fountain, a cute lemon tiled chair and beautifully trimmed floral and fauna. The Gardens of Augustus is right next to Via Krupp, a famed winding walkway that takes you down to the sea. Via Krupp is now permanently closed, but you can still get a photo of it from the gardens.
On your way to the Gardens of Augustus I also suggest stopping by the gardens of Hotel Luna. There is an archway that is lined with beautiful fuchsia flowers. And you will also find cute lemon stands along your walk towards the gardens.
WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS…
You make it into a lemon dress!
When I saw that the Amalfi Coast was rich with delicious large lemons I had to bring this lemon dress I found from Metisu. I find the dress flattering, comfortable and fitting for a vacation. I also love the black button details. Metisu also has plenty of other gorgeous dresses that are perfect for vacays like this blue floral print dress and this green floral print dress. (Thank you Metisu for sponsoring this dress)
