Out of all the seasons I love fall colors the best, and oversized sweaters are my go-tos. Last weekend I was able to getaway to Garrison, New York. We rented a gorgeous Airbnb house that is best described as a hybrid of an ultra modern loft and a cabin in the woods. It had a deserted backyard that was teeming with tall weeds (sorry if I’m mistaken. I do not profess to be a flora fauna expert) We strolled out casually to take some photos and were surprised by the outcome. The different levels of yellow and red in my outfit fit in with the fall colors around us perfectly. I originally wanted to title this post “Tiger in the Woods” but thought that would be too corny 😉
That night we cooked dinner at home with state of the art kitchen appliances & tools. Then we sat by the fire place and chatted about our dreams and aspirations. Ok, maybe not our dreams and aspirations, but you get the idea. We went to sleep content and happy, surrounded by the loveliness of fall. The next morning I woke up, I was shocked. Overnight it had rained and snowed and our entire surroundings was transformed into a winter wonderland. Excitedly, I woke my manfriend and opened the electronic blinds to reveal the gorgeous view of our now snow white backyard through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was breathtaking.
