Prior to my trip to Europe I had the goal of finding the best iconic views no matter where we go. So for Paris I naturally had to find the best luxury hotel with views of the Eiffel Tower. I decided to go with Shangri-La Paris because there simply is no other hotel with such an unobstructed view of the tower.
I had seen pictures of Shangri-La‘s rooms with an Eiffel Tower view over and over again on Pinterest and dreamt of staying one day. In person though, the experience and the view was even more amazing.
From the moment we set foot on the property of Shangri-La Paris we were warmly welcomed by their staff. My mum said “I haven’t felt like such royalty on this entire trip until now!”. I had originally asked for the Terrace Eiffel Tower View Room but they actually upgraded us to the Duplex Terrace Eiffel Tower Suite! Now, this is real view goals! When I entered this duplex I knew I had found the best high-end hotel with an unparalleled view of the Eiffel Tower.
In addition to the amazing view, the room itself was also quite spectacular. It featured classic decor that wasn’t stuffy with touches of black and gold that made it feel luxurious but chic. The bedding was plush and the bathroom was equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable night’s stay. Upon entering we were welcomed with a personalized card and some snacks and traditional Chinese tea.

During our stay, we took some time to discover their common areas which were so beautiful we decided to do a quick photo shoot!
We were informed that this hotel is actually the former home of Napoleon Bonaparte’s grandnephew, Prince Roland Bonaparte. No wonder everything is so beautiful and grand!
