These are the hashtags I think of when it comes to today’s outfit!

I rarely dress in “power” outfits because often I opt for softer, more feminine looks. Neither do I don work attire because, as a Lingerie Designer, I can wear anything to work. But if I had to dress for a corporate work event, this would be the power look I’d go for.

I’ve always loved tuxedo jackets but it’s not easy to style one without looking like a cocktail waitress. So I chose to just drape my jacket over my shoulders to give the look some layers and prevent it from looking like a uniform.

I am wearing leather accessories that I made to add a bit of edge to the outfit. I like to keep the colors reasonably simple, so I stuck to my favorite combo: black and gold.

I got this Chloe snake skin bag maybe 6 years ago in Paris while it was on sale. Till this day I still love to use it because of the texture and the gorgeous metal frame. It really makes a statement!
