When I think of romantic outfits, I think of feminine tops, elegant skirts and classic heels. A nice big hat is also a good addition! Today’s outfit is exactly that.
ROMANTIC OUTFITS: OFF THE SHOULDER LACE BODYSUIT IN PARIS, FRANCE
Previously, I had written a post about how to wear your lace bodysuit out. Today’s off the shoulder lace bodysuit from Thistle and Spire is another sheer bodysuit you can easily wear out. The cups are lined so you don’t have to worry about your nipples showing or protruding. Its lace panels and black lines have a waist slimming effect and perfectly flatter the woman’s body.
Thistle and Spire is a lingerie startup brand based in Brooklyn that creates high quality yet affordable lingerie and swimwear. I particularly love their collection of bodysuits because they can all be worn as outerwear and are extremely stylish. I also wear one of their swimsuits in a recent post here.
For my bag I chose to go with a structured bag by X Nihilo. This bag is a new favorite of mine because it is so versatile and very well made. It comes with a shoulder strap so you can style it in several ways.

Pont Alexandre III & Petit Palais
When I put together this romantic outfit I knew I had to shoot it at an equally romantic place. Where else in the world could be more romantic than Paris, the City of Lights? Pont Alexandre III is probably the most photogenic bridge and a hot spot for wedding photography. So we decided to shoot this outfit there. While we were there, we also stopped by Petit Palais to take photos in front of its magnificent golden doors. There was actually an entire wedding photography crew taking photos there when we arrived and we had to wait about 15 minutes for our turn. Did I mention that these places are wedding photography hot spots?
