The bomber jacket has been around for a few seasons now and proves to be an extremely popular and versatile fashion piece.
This moodboard sums up today’s outfit which is a combination of gorgeous blues with hints of gold/yellow with lace and pearl to add texture and variety. I was shopping in Xinyi Breeze in Taipei, Taiwan when I came across this bomber jacket by Chloe Chen. (See my other post featuring Chloe Chen’s leather jacket HERE and HERE) The dropped neckline, cropped length, color and texture of this jacket really differentiates itself from all the other bomber jackets out there. Even though bomber jackets are usually worn casually, I like to add a feminine touch to it by adding lace and pearl details.
The lace blouse is by Alice and Olivia and has the most gorgeous lace panels along the body and sleeves. It also features cute lace ruching at the wrists which I let peep out from the ribbed cuff of the jacket. A hint of lace is all you need to upgrade a look!
The lining of this jacket was also made beautifully with a (actually functional!) secret pocket. The yellow piping is the perfect finishing to bring out the gold in the self fabric.
