I love a good floral maxi dress and I always bring a few with me on my trips! Here’s why floral maxi dresses are every fashion girl’s favorite!
THE FLORAL MAXI DRESS
Every Fashion Girl’s Favorite

GREAT FOR TRAVEL
Whenever I travel, I make sure to pack a good number of photogenic outfits with me. One of the fashion items that will ALWAYS travel with me is a pretty floral maxi dress. Floral maxi dresses are feminine, flowy and very comfortable. The flow and action of the dress make for wonderful travel photos like this one (from H&M) here and here.
GREAT FOR TRANSITIONING INTO FALL
If you thought that floral maxi dresses can only be worn during summer or spring think again! They are actually great fall transition pieces since you can easily throw a denim jacket, leather jacket or chunky sweater over it. Pair it with a pair of low boots and you’re good to go! For a darker color floral maxi dress you can wear a mesh top or turtleneck sweater underneath. A maxi dress could be styled similarly to how a slip dress would be styled for fall.
GREAT FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
Floral maxi dresses can definitely be more than just casual occasion attire. You can easily wear a floral maxi dress from day to night by changing into high heels, carrying a clutch, putting up your hair and putting on some bold lips.
When I traveled to Kyoto, Japan recently, I wore this pink floral maxi dress from For Love and Lemons. I particularly love the back design of this dress and the double ruffles (one layer of fabric, one layer of lace). Another great brand that carries gorgeous floral maxi dresses is Yumi Kim. Here I have picked out some of my favorite floral maxis:
