My theme today is about taking advantage of Valentine’s Day to lounge in lace and so I wanted to share some lingerie picks for different personalities.
9 Days of Valentine – Day 7: Lounging in Lace and My Lingerie Picks
When I was a lingerie designer, it was important to understand consumer behavior. Most people think of skimpy, provocative looks when they hear the term lingerie, but conservative lingerie styles do exist. Based off of my background and my career, I know that not everyone will like the same styles of lingerie. This is the same notion as people having different fashion tastes and preferences. I broke down my lingerie picks into three different categories for certain personality types. I hope you’ll find my guide useful.
ONE
Sweet
The color white represents sweet and innocence. If you’re shy and timid in personality, then you might look into white lace robes with light pink accents. Lingerie doesn’t mean showing a lot of skin. Chemises and slip dresses made out of silk, velvet, or lace are all great lingerie pieces to invest in.
TWO
Passionate
My lingerie picks wouldn’t feel right without the color red since it’s my favorite. Red is associated with passion and confidence and it comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. If you are a passionate and emotional person, then red is the best color for you. Pick a bralette and panty set to be adventurous and try new things.
THREE
Sexy
For personalities that aren’t afraid to embrace their sensuality, black is perfect. It is a classic lingerie color because it’s slimming and makes you feel more confident. All lingerie styles look great and flattering when it comes in black. Bodysuits are my favorite because I can also wear them with clothes.
