Over the years of celebrating Valentine’s Day, I’ve discovered that this special day can start to feel routine especially if you and your beau do date night often. I’m always trying to find unique ways to celebrate this loving day that doesn’t consist of only dinner and flowers. Day 3 of 9 Days of Valentines is all about that. Time to take a road trip!
9 Days of Valentine – Day 3: Take A Road Trip
I love traveling and I’m always up for an adventure, but going somewhere far isn’t always the convenient thing to do. If you’re stuck in the same dilemma, you should take a road trip. I love road trips because they’re impromptu and unplanned leaving a lot to be decided on the go. You also don’t have to pack much at all and it still fulfills the purpose of escaping. Road trips are so wonderful for discovering new places, activities, and restaurants with your love. I’ve come to realize that it’s these unplanned experiences that remind me why I’m so grateful to have someone to discover the world with.
A road trip doesn’t have to be fancy, and it can include flowers and dinner too. A new place just makes Valentine’s Day feel more special and unique. Other fun ideas to try when you take a road trip would be stargazing, hiking, and even camping. Remember ladies, you don’t always have to wait for him to surprise you. I love taking the initiative every so often to make something special and memorable happen for the relationship.
If you’re in New York City and need some ideas for where to go, you can always go upstate to experience a different kind of beauty the state offers.
I’ve come to realize that it’s these unplanned experiences that remind me why I’m so grateful to have someone to discover the world with.

Your site on mobile view is limited because of your social media icons. Although this Valentines series is lovely and I adore your looks, it was quite bothersome to try and read your post when the icons cover the left side of each line. I suggest moving them to float at he bottom of the screen for a better view!
Xoxo
Hi Lauryn,
Thanks so much for your feedback! On my screen it doesn’t cover the writing, so I didn’t realize! I will see if I can fix that…
