Recently I’ve featured the most Instagrammable cafes in NYC, and it was a huge hit! So I figured you all must also be interested in the most Instagrammable restaurants in NYC! And since I’m a major foodie as well as an Instagrammer, here are my 16 top picks so you can get the most amazing photos (as well as food, most of the time) for your next trip to NYC!
16 Most Instagrammable Restaurants in NYC
1. Grand Salon at Baccarat Hotel
I had seen so many beautiful photos of Baccarat Hotel before on Instagram and was delighted when they invited me to afternoon tea. Red roses and chandeliers are totally my kind of thing and if you love luxury and feminine places as much as I do, you’ll also love the Grand Salon at Baccarat Hotel. Their afternoon tea includes several meal choices with some of the most amazing teas. We went for the Sultan Abdulaziz, which is a Turkish style afternoon tea inspired by the Dolmabahce Palace (which was one of the most Instagrammable spots for my trip to Istanbul). Every dish was an absolute delight and the service was impeccable!
2. R Lounge at Two Times Square
Where can you enjoy a bite and drinks while overlooking an amazing view of Times Square? The answer is: R Lounge at Two Times Square (inside Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel). This is an amazing spot that I visited with my friend Elona a few weeks back. The service wasn’t the best I’ve ever experienced in NYC but I’m sure the views of Times Square will keep you happy!
3. Asiate at Mandarin Oriental
If you’ve been following my blog or my Instagram for a while, you’ll know that I have a thing with views. Asiate at Mandarin Oriental is by far one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in NYC with the most amazing view of Central Park. You can come here for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Whether you come for a beautiful sunset, fall leaves, or a snow-covered central park, the views here will never disappoint!
4. Robert inside The Museum of Arts and Design
Speaking of restaurants with an amazing view of Central Park, Robert, inside the Museum of Arts and Design, is also a great choice. There is also a table that overlooks the Columbus Circle roundabout as well as tables directly facing Central Park. Be sure to ask for one of these tables for the best view to snap your shot!
5. Pietro Nolita
I’m pretty sure any pink restaurant almost always instantly becomes the most Instagrammable restaurant in any city. Pietro Nolita is one of such restaurants with a small but cute pink interior and an exterior entirely painted in pink! It’s no wonder all bloggers and Instagrammers love to pay this spot a visit!
6. Upland
Fancy some New American food inside a super Instagrammable restaurant? Try Upland near the Flatiron Building. I’ve been to Upland several times and the food never disappoints! (Definitely try their ‘whole crispy mushroom’ as well as their ‘smoked long island duck’) What’s even better is that it is beautifully decorated and the bar will make for a gorgeous photo!
7. While We Were Young
Another spot I highly recommend is While We Were Young in West Village. I adore the feminine but chic decor and was pleasantly surprised that their cocktails and food were just as good as their decor! Brunches are New Yorkers’ favorites so come on a weekend for their brunch menu and prepare to get boozy because these cocktails are delicious, colorful and super Instagram-worthy!
8. Bar SixtyFive at the Rainbow Room
Bar SixtyFive is located inside the Rockefeller Building on the 65th floor. Here you will be able to wine and dine to some of the best city views, including a direct view of Empire State Building. The bar is sometimes closed for private functions and events so make sure to reserve ahead to avoid disappointment! (Outdoor seatings are first come first serve)
9. La Mercerie Cafe at Roman and Williams Guild
I have seen this restaurant at Roman and Williams Guild all over Instagram and it’s not hard to see why. The interior is artfully designed with darker tones for a more sophisticated and slightly rustic look. There is also a small floral shop inside the guild that is super Instagram-worthy. La Mercerie Cafe specializies in delicious French food so definitely give this place a try!
10. 1803 NYC
1803 is a vibrant restaurant inspired by the New Orleans culinary scene. This place has been on my to-visit list because I love any restaurant with gorgeous wall paper. This place has menus for lunch, brunch, dinner and late night snacks as well as an underground Jazz club.
11. Shuka
As I just mentioned, I love any restaurant with gorgeous wall papers. Shuka is one such restaurant with beautiful tropical vibes and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. It also is painted in a vibrant blue on the outside for those of you who love to curate your Instagram feed with bright colors.
12. Le Coucou
This beautiful Parisian restaurant makes me feel like I am instantly transported to Paris. Le Coucou was designed by Roman and Williams (featured in #9) and has a stunning bar that would make for the perfect Insta shot. It’s dining room features tall windows that allow for ample light to enter.
13. SISTERS Brooklyn
I rarely ever leave Manhattan, but when I do it’s for beautiful restaurants like SISTERS. I visited this spot in April while the cherry blossoms were blooming in Brooklyn Botanic Garden and enjoyed a lovely brunch. The center piece of the restaurant is its unique bar that will make for a great Instagram shot.
14. Nomo Kitchen
Dining in Nomo Kitchen is like dining in an enchanted garden, with plants surrounding the tables and hanging above the bar. There are also beautiful chandeliers that add a magical touch to the restaurant’s interior. The path leading to the restaurant is another photo op with its fairy lights and tunnel made of green plants.
15. Cafe Medi
As it’s name suggests, Cafe Medi is a Mediterranean restaurants that serves seasonal foodsย inspired by the traditional coastal dishes of Spain, Italy, and France. The main dining room is bright and spacious with the most beautiful tiled mural wall. This is definitely one of the most Instagrammable restaurants in NYC that I hope to visit soon!

16. Tacombi at Bleecker Street
Tacombi is a chain that has several locations in New York serving authentic Mexican taco. Their location at Bleecker Street has a cute converted VW van that they serve tacos out of. Fashion bloggers love the colorful Mexican vibes and often come here for that Instagrammable shot!
