Whenever I travel, one of the first things I do is research all the places I want to visit in that one city. The first place I look is on Instagram and take inspiration from my favorite travel influencers. I also google “most instagrammable places” because sometimes you might come across some helpful blog posts. During my trip to London last month for fashion week, I got to experience some really cool spots and so I put together this list of most instagrammable cafes and restaurants in London for you to bookmark.

15 Most Instagrammable Cafes and Restaurants in London

Planning is important for me because you can miss a lot of places if you’re not careful about timing. You should be prepared to account for traffic, meals, and other activities. If you’re able to wake up early and stick to a schedule no matter how exhausted you feel, then visiting all these places in a few days is doable. I have shown most of these spots on my instagram and wanted to talk more about them on my blog. You can save this for the next time you visit London and thank me later 🙂

1. Aubaine inside Selfridges

Aubaine is beautiful for the lavender wisterias dangling from the ceilings. This is probably my favorite of the 15 most Instagrammable cafes and restaurants in London. It might be hard to find but ask all the sales reps you see inside Selfridges and they’ll kindly direct you to the right place. It’s your classic cafe serving croissants and cappuccinos. The tile floor and gray-blue walls make it an instagram haven. Go early to lock in the popular corner spot and catch the soft morning light.

2. Saint Aymes Chocolate

Saint Aymes Chocolate is easily spotted with the black and white tiles leading to the door and wisterias decorating the windows. If you think it’s lovely on the outside, you’ll be pleased to hear that it’s equally on par inside with the floral walls. Take advantage of both spots and click away as you can. Ask for the colorful drinks and sugar cookies that are delicious and instagram worthy!

3. Elan Cafe (2 stores)

Elan Cafe is one of the newer spots and it’s becoming a popular hit (probably because of instagram). There are two locations so make sure you cover both of them. The first one I went to had the stunning flower wall that’s all over instagram and drool-worthy pastry counters. The pink interiors are a feminine girl’s dreams! The second location is smaller and not as lush as the first one but still worthy of visiting. The food and pastries exceeded my expectations. I would happily stop by again.

4. B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

If you don’t have a lot of time in London and want an affordable but fun way to catch the iconic landmarks of the city, you have to try B Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. It was one of my favorite experiences in London and fairly priced. When you get on the bus, it’s decorated with fairy lights and the tables are all set up classic tea style with pastries and sandwiches. They even serve warm scones and champagne! You’re then served some tea or coffee of your choice that goes inside a B Afternoon cup that you can keep. It was so much fun and would be perfect for pairs or groups!

5. Sketch – The Gallery

If you’re ever in London, Sketch is one place you must see. It’s pricey but worth the experience. I fell in love with the plush seats, quirky artwork, and service! I love that you get unlimited refills on teas and they have one of the largest selections I have ever seen. They also play live orchestral music which made the classiest finishing touch. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the tea, and the view.

6. Sketch – Glade

In the same building is Sketch Glade which is also worth seeing. However, due to the location and amount of food you get, it’s ideal to visit both Sketches on different days. Unlike The Gallery, Glade is very dark and rich. The lighting can be tricky to take photos but it’s just as beautiful and impressive as The Gallery.

7. Peggy Porschen Cakes

Peggy Porschen gets the most insane crowd! Whether for the cakes or the photogenic architecture, I have no idea why but it’s definitely instagrammable with the cutest exterior to the floral decorations around the door. Be prepared to wait your turn and do it fast because some people have no problem popping in for their own photos.

8. Ivy Chelsea Garden

This spot looks like the name suggests – a stunning, lush garden that’s rustic and classic. They are known for their beautiful flower wall that changes throughout the seasons. The natural elements and eclectic furniture make it a fun place to dine in and take a few photos. In the warmer months, you can enjoy the outdoor patio that’s filled with more greens!

9. Biscuiteer

The Biscuiteers Boutique is so cute to see. The black and white facade stands out blatantly against the red brick row. Inside you’ll find gold trim shelves full of classic British goodies. I loved the checkered black and white floor and the blue benches lined up against the wall.

10. by Chloe

If you’re looking for delicious, healthy food with a magnificent interior, check out by Chloe. The stripe floors, bright windows, and unique interior touches are worth seeing. It’s amazing because you get so much light inside and can capture great photos.

11. Daisy Green Collection

This is your Aussie-inspired restaurant with several locations spotted throughout London. The one I feel is the most instagrammable is Darcie Green. This location is special because it’s on a boat, making it a floating restaurant and bar. I love how colorful, funky, and artsy it is from the inside out.

12. Coppa Club

Coppa Club is probably the coolest spot you can find in London because it’s open on all sides and gives you the most stunning view of the tower and river. There are these little igloo-looking tables that leave me speechless because they are so remarkable! The only problem is that space is so limited and they fill up sooo fast. Make sure to book an igloo months in advance!

13. The Corner Room, Mile End

If you like natural decor with lots of wood and natural light, you’ll love this spot. It has unique pendant lights hanging down and white brick walls that look great in photos. It’s not your usual feminine spot but very casual and cozy nonetheless.

14. Clerkenwell Grind

Now back to feminine spots again, Clerkenwell Grind will give you that touch of blush pink. However, it also has dark blue walls and seats that add really beautiful contrast to the room. The gold hardware around the bar and seats bring in chic and elegant vibes. Everything I just described with the exemplary marble bar make it so glamorous and modern.

15. Dalloway Terrace

And last on my list is Dalloway Terrace which is a great spot for afternoon tea. If you have an obsession with flowers hanging from the ceilings or plants covering walls, this one has it all. I believe the decor changes with the seasons but no matter when you’re in London, this one will have you in awe.

So these are my recommendations for the 15 most instagrammable cafes and restaurants in London. If you have suggestions for me, please leave them below. Let me know what you guys think!
